What can someone buy with a LawBooksForLess.com gift certificate?
LawBooksForLess.com gift certificates can be used to purchase any of the thousands of titles in our warehouse. Gift certificate funds cannot, however, be applied toward the purchase other LawBooksForLess.com gift certificates.
How will my gift certificate be sent?
Your recipient will receive their LawBooksForLess.com Gift Certificate, along with your own personal message by email. All LawBooksForLess.com e-mail gift certificates are sent from admin@lawbooksforless.com.
How do you redeem a LawBooksForLess.com gift certificate?
When the recipient enters the gift certificate's code for the first time, the certificate is automatically redeemed onto their account. This information is logged into our database, even if the recipient doesn't place an order at that time. After they have entered the claim code once, a credit is issued to their account and they do not need to enter it again.
Hey, I entered the code, but received an error message saying that the certificate has already been redeemed! What's up with that?
If you receive this message, and the funds are not being applied to your order, it could be that you have more than one LawBooksForLess.com account, and that the funds are being credited to one of your other accounts. If you do not have another account, please contact us and we will check to see if someone else has redeemed your gift certificate code.
My gift certificate code has been stolen! What can I do?
A LawBooksForLess.com gift certificate code is as good as cash and we are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates that have been redeemed by someone other than the recipient. If you believe your certificate has been stolen but not used, we can reissue a new code for the same amount at no additional charge.
Can I redeem a gift certificate for cash?
No. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
Can I transfer a gift certificate to someone else?
If you have not redeemed a gift certificate, feel free to "re-gift" it by forwarding to someone else. However, if you have already redeemed the certificate, any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account and is not transferable.
I'm a former Law Preview student and I'm trying to buy a Gift Certifcate. How come I'm not getting my 5% discount?

What if my order exceeds the amount of my gift certificate?
If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, the remaining balance must be covered with a credit card.
