Carefully designed to facilitate effective study, Examples and Explanations: Contracts takes the practical three-step approach that characterizes this effective Series:
Thorough descriptions explore and explain the concepts under consideration.
Examples give students an opportunity to test their comprehension by applying the law to contemporary fact patterns.
Explanations help them measure their mastery of the material and provide suggested answers and feedback.
Throughout the book, useful diagrams give students visual representations of important concepts to strengthen the textual explanations. Professor Blum structures his book in a series of self-contained chapters on:
Offer and Acceptance;
Interpretation and Construction;
The Statute of Frauds and the Parole Evidence Rule;
Judicial Regulation of Improper Bargaining and of Violation of Law and Public Policy;
Breach of Contract;
Assignment, Delegation, and Third Party Beneficiaries.

Awesome, as usual!, Review by Gregor J.
This book is a great resource for Contracts for any law student! But, be warned, it's comprehensive.. which means you actually have to take the time to sit down and read all of it in order to get the gist of each chapter. I think it would work really well as a 1L prep book - I know I wish I had read it earlier! (Posted on 7/10/12)
